Yesterday, the Idaho Legislature passed SB 1211, controversial the bill that would allow the kill 90% of Idaho 1500 wolves, decrease in the number of wolves staying in a state to a simple 150. The regrettable bill also approves the killing of these animals by any means, including: traps, snares, aerial gunfire, snowmobile and ATV collisions, and wildlife control contests.

As noted in the statement Coyote Project, in the bill would confiscate wildlife management powers from Idaho Fish and Hunt Commission and supports the hiring of hitmen with additional USD 190,000 from Idaho Wolf Control Fund, who is already receiving USD 400,000 kill wolves all over the state.
Our last chance to stop this all-out war against wolves in Idaho is to call Governor Brad Little vetoed the bill. Even if you don’t live in Idaho, you can still speak up. Idaho needs to know what the world is watching!
