Elmsford, NY – PETA is offering a reward of up to $ 5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a person (s) who sealed a Chihuahua in a garbage bag in a storage container and dumped it outside of Crossed Legs Rescue at 100 Warehouse Street. as a man throws a dog around 9:30 pm on Wednesday 28th April.
A worker found a light brown dog inside a trash can 17 hours later: it scratched its nails with bloody fingernails as it crawled out of a plastic bag and was suffocating. She is estimated to be around 5 years old, and her name is now Ryu. She received immediate veterinary attention and will be placed for adoption as soon as she fully recovers.

Police are investigating the incident, and PETA hopes to help the public in case the person might harm other animals. Could you share this information with your audience? This could mean breaking up the case.
“This little dog deserved to be safe and sound in a loving home, but instead, someone threw it in a trash bag and left it suffocating, alone and in fear,” says PETA vice president Colleen O’Brien. “PETA encourages anyone with answers to make a statement so that whoever betrayed her trust will be held accountable.”
PETA, whose motto, in particular, is that “animals are not ours to abuse them in any way”, advises anyone who witnesses animal cruelty or neglect to immediately inform the authorities.
