Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Ferguson have reunited in Miami to film a passionate love scene for their new movie, Reminiscence.
The two actors, who previously starred together in the 2017 film The Greatest Showman, were seen kissing each other during filming on Sunday.
In The Greatest Showman, Jackman’s character, PT Barnum, rejected Ferguson’s character, Jenny Lind, as a love interest due to being married.
However, it seems their love for each other is stronger in Reminiscence, as they couldn’t keep their hands off each other during filming.
The science-fiction thriller, set in a future where Miami has been flooded due to climate change, follows the character of Nick Bannister, played by Jackman, a veteran who works as a “private investigator of the mind”.
Bannister searches people’s memories and uses technology to try and find his long lost love.
Ferguson’s character, Mae, was seen resting her hand on Jackman’s muscular shoulders as they filmed several takes, with a cameraman standing close by.
Jackman was dressed in a white singlet and black pants, while Ferguson wore a pink kimono.
She later changed into a maroon hoodie and track pants for another scene, which showed her embracing her co-star in the street.
During one romantic scene, Mae was depicted sitting seductively on a canopy bed while holding a fruity sangria, which Jackman’s character, Nick, later sipped on.
The two characters had a warm conversation before sharing a tender kiss.
In between takes, Jackman and Ferguson were seen chatting and laughing with each other, seemingly developing a close friendship in addition to their on-screen romance. The film also features Thandie Newton and Daniel Wu.
According to Empire, most of the filming for Reminiscence has taken place in New Orleans and Miami.
