People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)

As children, we are taught the Golden Rule, and all major religions teach the principles of non-violence and kindness. The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “Injustice everywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Ethical appeal – the Golden Rule – should apply to all living things: reptiles, mammals, fish, insects, birds, amphibians and crustaceans.
