Carlisle, Pennsylvania – PETA is offering rewards up to $ 5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction on charges of cruelty to those responsible for tying an emaciated dog to a bridge in LeTort Park and leaving it there.
Police said they found the dog after receiving reports of barking at 10:45 pm on Sunday, April 25. The dog is a gray pitbull with a white underbelly, it is about a year old. She wore silver harnesses and a black collar without a tag, and she was so skinny that her ribs were visible. She is now in the care of a local animal rescue group who named her Rose.
Police investigations have not yet identified any leads, and PETA hopes to help the public in case Rosa’s abuser could harm other animals. Could you share this information with your audience? This could mean breaking up the case.
“This suffering dog needed urgent help, but instead someone tied it to a bridge and left it there to bark desperately for help,” says PETA vice president Colleen O’Brien. “PETA encourages anyone with information about this dog to declare themselves immediately so that anyone who has completely betrayed her trust will be held accountable.”
